Construction Update

Due to many unexpected delays in the renovations to Martin’s kitchen and dining room we are now predicting that our new opening date for full service will be MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th. In the meantime, Martins has been providing grab and go bags for breakfast and lunch since Monday, September 2 nd and will do so until the kitchen renovation is complete. Why the Delay? The reason for the delay to our opening date has been unforeseen plumbing issues. As many of you know, there is not a week when we don’t have to call a plumber for the issue of the day. As the walls were torn down and the concrete dug up, we saw first-hand the plumbing problems that have plagued us over the years. The good news is that we have addressed the plumbing issues and are now ready to close up the walls and pour the new concrete in preparation for our new flooring and wall treatment. How can you help? Work Party: Saturday, September 14 – 9 AM to 2 PM – Come help with painting, cleaning, pressure washing, and assembling new racks.
